There are two main ways to interact with TOTA groups:
- Following a group
- Joining a group
Following a group allows you to view a group’s public posts. It’s a great way to support a group, see what they're up to, and to get a sense of the group before joining.
Joining a group allows you access to "group access only" content for that group. It also allows you to write content on behalf of the Group, with the approval of the Group Facilitator.
To Follow a group, go to the Groups page and select the Group you are interested in. From the page for that Group, click on the orange "Follow" button under the group description.
To Join a group, go to the Groups page and select the Group you are interested in. From the page for that Group, click on the blue "Request to Join" button. The Group Facilitator will be notified of your interest in joining the group and will approve or deny your request. Note that this process can take some time, depending on the Group Facilitator.
